Biography
Kim’s passion is to see God’s people recognize that prayer is a creative, continual moment by moment lifestyle as we align our hearts with the plans and purposes of God for His glory and the sake of His kingdom. Her ministry involves writing, teaching and consulting. She also compiles and edits HPM’s free daily devotional, Connection! and blogs regularly on the HPM website).
Kim graduated from Whitman College with teaching credentials and a BA in Psychology. She has a Masters degree in Spiritual Formation and Leadership from Spring Arbor University.

Kim is the author of The Praying Family: Creative Ways to Pray Together and has co-authored Pray Like the King: Lessons from the Prayers of Israel’s Kings, Revolution on Our Knees: 30 Days of Prayer for Neighbors and Nations, and Vertical with Jesus: A 30 Day Journey to Impact Kingdom Living with her husband, Dave, Kim has also authored dozens of articles for the Herald of His Coming, Pray! and Prayer Connect magazines, and other publications.

Prayer Ministry Teams: Kim enjoys informal times of training with prayer ministry teams (or churches interested in starting teams) to talk about leading people into a deeper intimacy with God, integrating prayer as a lifestyle in the church, how to effectively involve the church in national and global prayer initiatives.
Children’s and Youth pastors/directors/leaders/volunteers: integrating prayer into children’s and youth ministries and how to engage parents in the process of praying with and for their children.
24-7 (Day and Night Prayer): Kim is available to answer questions, problem solve, etc. with churches planning for or involved with day and night prayer.
